I work with adults who experience a broad range of psychological concerns ranging from day-to-day stressors, to more troubling emotional difficulties. This includes people that are seeking relief from their symptoms, wanting practical skills to help make changes, and/or are desiring to know themselves better. Sometimes there can simply be a vague sense that something is not quite right.
My main area of expertise includes stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and confidence issues, health concerns, loss/grief, self-destructive behaviours, relationship difficulties and adjustment to life changes.
My therapeutic style involves psychotherapy which is adapted to suit needs, strengths and resources, and can be brief or longer-term. The therapeutic relationship is key, and involves an honest and direct, yet compassionate style. My commitment is to engage my skill, knowledge and experience to help the movement towards positive change, within a safe therapeutic relationship and confidential space.
