I work with clients who come from diverse cultural backgrounds across all ages (above 14 years old) through their experience of life's challenges and difficulties. I am passionate about drawing clients' strengths and resilience in a non-judgemental and empathetic manner and providing them with a holistic approach to mental health.
My areas of interest are anxiety, depression and trauma. Having worked within the primary and secondary school setting, I work with parents who are seeking to support their children through developmental, psychological or social difficulties. I help children to work through their issues using creative and engaging ways and empower them with practical skills/strategies. I also work with adults who are experiencing stress related to academic, career or relationship problems. I utilise a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
