I work with people who are struggling with any aspects of their lives and would like support to work through their concerns.
I can assist people who feel sad and lonely, nervous and anxious, have work or life related stress, concerns in their relationships, or those wishing to gain personal insight. I like to provide a safe space for people to talk, I am LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I have experience working with Australian Indigenous people.
I have a strength in supporting expat individuals living and working abroad. Having worked internationally myself, I have first-hand knowledge of some of the complexities involved in foreign working environments. I can provide support for people working in the field, or during the transition and adjustment upon return.
My therapeutic style depends on what you present and how you like to work. It could include cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotion focused therapy, education about how the brain works and its relationship with our body, visualisation or mindfulness work. I like to empower you with the tools to manage your personal situation.
I have a background in international aid work and a passion for volunteering in support of social justice and human rights. I’m also a nature and ocean lover.
