I work with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of emotional issues. I work with individuals who are experiencing personal life crises or relationship issues, and may be presenting with depression, anxiety or stress due to a difficult situation they are currently experiencing. I also work with couples and families who wish to work together to resolve shared issues or communication breakdowns.
My therapeutic style is a cognitive behavioural approach to change unhelpful or unhealthy habits of thinking, feeling and behaving. I like to make use of practical self-help strategies, which are designed to provide positive and immediate changes in a person’s quality of life. I also like to incorporate aspects of other therapies, such as helping my clients to engage in things with mindfulness and exploring the narratives of past events to help break down any ongoing trauma or concerns.
