VCPS has partnered with the Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) to provide telehealth sessions to clients living in this region.
This initiative aims to increase the accessibility of mental health services for clients who find it difficult to find an available psychologist located within Gippsland or Mallacoota. The sessions are funded by the Gippsland PHN and so do not have any out-of-pocket cost to clients. We have psychologists available from Monday to Saturday, including after business hours, via telehealth video conferencing and/or telephone consultations.
To attend the appointments all you will need is a computer or smartphone with a camera and microphone, and access to the internet. You may also be able to arrange to use the resources at your local GP clinic or community centre if you do not have an access to this at home.
We welcome anyone from the Gippsland or Mallacoota region to contact the VCPS Intake team to find out further information or to book in a consultation with one of our practitioners. You can contact our Intake team directly on (03) 9067 8810.
